What the job is
Underground line: Approximately 13 linear feet from the existing water main to a coordinated, capped interior stub-up at the southwest apparatus bay. Include utility coordination and fees, excavation, piping, building penetration, pavement restoration, flushing, and hydrostatic testing. Complete by February 1, 2027.
Sprinklers: Complete wet-pipe system throughout the two-story, 13,910-square-foot building, including indoor backflow assembly, riser, exterior fire department connection, seismic bracing, and monitoring devices. Design to NFPA 13 (2019), with Light Hazard and Ordinary Hazard Group 1 areas and Seismic Design Category C. Complete by July 1, 2027.
Fire alarm: Replace the existing system with a building-wide NFPA 72-compliant addressable system. Include required detection, sleeping-area notification, eight manual pull stations, sprinkler interfaces, wiring, and cutover to the existing monitoring provider; exclude recurring monitoring fees. Complete by July 1, 2027.
Installation requirements: Field-verify conditions and maintain active fire station operations. Include design, permits, testing, acceptance, training, applicable restoration, as-built documentation, and a minimum one-year materials and workmanship warranty.
