Structural design: Evaluate replacement alternatives and finalize design for an anticipated 10-foot clear-span precast concrete box culvert, including headwalls, wingwalls, and foundations. Existing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis is available.
Civil design: Survey, utility coordination and anticipated relocations, roadway and pavement design, guide rail analysis, drainage, erosion and sediment control with bypass pumping, and a full-road-closure detour plan.
Geotechnical: Administer subsurface drilling, inspect borings, perform laboratory testing, and prepare foundation recommendations and a geotechnical report.
Environmental and permitting: Bog turtle habitat and wetland investigations within 300 feet, cultural resource screening, and Chapter 105 permit preparation and submission.
Deliverables and pricing: Construction plans, calculations, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, schedule, and bid support. Provide a lump-sum or not-to-exceed fee by task, plus staff hourly rates.
