WorkHand-cut and lop live and dead western juniper of all diameters and other conifers below 9 inches DBH. Preserve designated leave trees, old-growth trees, and trees with nests; protect fences.
Cutting and slashStumps no higher than 8 inches; stem sections no longer than 8 feet. Lop slash below 48 inches or existing shrub height, whichever is lower; maintain 2-foot clearance from leave-tree drip lines and 10-foot clearance from roads and property boundaries. All cutting, piling, and pile covering must be performed by hand.
ScheduleComplete by June 30, 2027. No work December 1–April 30 unless an exception is approved; additional wildlife timing restrictions apply in designated areas.
AccessUse existing roads and clean equipment before entry and upon completion; observe applicable fire restrictions.
