Scope: Verify approximately 253 unknown service lines using vacuum excavation or localized mechanical potholing to identify pipe and fitting materials.
Restoration: Include labor, equipment, traffic control, immediate backfill, compaction, grading, and grass seeding. Coordinate any pavement or concrete cuts and repairs.
Documentation: Record each excavation location, address, and identified material in an inventory-compatible reporting format.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Pricing: Provide a lump sum for 200 lines, as specified in the pricing schedule, plus separate pricing for the remaining 53 lines and rates for additional labor, equipment, and pavement repairs.
Requirements: Active North Carolina utility/excavation licensing, applicable prevailing wages and payroll tracking, and U.S.-made permanent repair materials. Insurance: general liability $1M/$2M, auto $1M, and statutory workers' compensation with $1M employers' liability.
