Facility: Approximately 45,000 square feet, single story, with automotive labs, classrooms, offices, an autobody paint booth, and heavy diesel training spaces.
Services: Independent enhanced commissioning from conceptual design through construction, acceptance, and one year of performance verification, including design reviews and energy modeling.
Systems: Building envelope, HVAC and geothermal systems, automation controls, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, lighting controls, emergency power, security/access, EV charging, and accessibility checks.
Testing and closeout: Envelope air leakage and water testing, installation/startup verification, functional and seasonal testing, systems manual review, recorded staff training, final reporting, and a 10-month warranty review.
Qualifications: North Carolina engineering licensure required; scope incorporates PHIUS 2021 and WELL v2 design goals.
