Scope: Design for eight fire-rated doors with 120V power and integration with the existing campus fire alarm system.
Fieldwork: Verify door locations, wall backing, and conduit routing; include at least two onsite meetings.
Design deliverables: California-licensed design professional serving in responsible charge; provide stamped plans, door schedules, mounting details, complete conduit routing, and specifications in PDF and editable CAD, including a 90% review set.
Compliance: Include Title 24 code analysis, permitting, and applicable DSA exemption documentation, assuming exemption under IR A-22.
Construction support: Include submittal and RFI reviews, fire alarm contractor coordination, and testing and closeout document reviews. Fire alarm design, programming, and testing are by others.
Pricing: Provide fees by task, separate optional bid-phase support, and hourly rates for additional services. Include travel and other expenses.
