What the job is
Scope: Painting, surface repairs, and wall covering removal and installation at offices, recreation centers, restrooms, tennis courts, and street furniture.
Preparation and coatings: Cleaning, pressure washing, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming; surface-appropriate paints, epoxies, sealers, and stains. Exterior finish requires two coats with 48 hours between coats.
Resources: Include all labor, materials, tools, lifts or scaffolding, property protection, and daily debris removal.
Pricing: Provide hourly labor rates and material discounts from list price for a five-year service term with no guaranteed volume. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; approved overtime is paid at 1.5 times the standard labor rate.
Requirements: Virginia DPOR Class A or B license and a 12-month workmanship and materials warranty. Each assignment requires a site inspection and written estimate.
