What the job is
Scope: Monthly in-person agency visits, traffic safety outreach, enforcement planning, training coordination, campaign reporting support, and attendance at required meetings and conferences.
Qualifications: Retired sworn peace officer with extensive law enforcement experience, residing full-time in one of the listed counties throughout the engagement. Must not be actively employed as a sworn officer. Subcontracting is prohibited.
Term: Anticipated November 15, 2026–September 30, 2027, with up to four annual extensions.
Pricing: Fixed hourly rate inclusive of travel and all expenses; up to 1,500 hours and $100,000 per 12-month period.
Travel and equipment: Frequent regional travel and some overnight trips using your own insured vehicle; computer with Microsoft Office 365, email, and telephone messaging required.
Insurance: $2 million general liability, automobile liability, and professional liability coverage; workers' compensation as applicable.
