Financial reviews: Verify annual assessments billed to Freetown and Lakeville; review significant or unusual transactions and identify duplicate or questionable payments.
Deliverables: Review records, interview staff, provide status updates, and prepare a written report detailing procedures, factual findings, control deficiencies, and corrective recommendations.
Qualifications: Independent accounting firm with at least 10 years of relevant Massachusetts municipal and K–12 experience, qualified CPAs, and knowledge of regional school district finance.
