Services: Planning, programming validation, full multidisciplinary design, bidding and negotiation support, and construction administration.
Spaces: Culinary teaching kitchens, instructional laboratories, classrooms, storage and preparation areas, offices, and student collaboration spaces.
Design team: Include commercial kitchen design, civil/site, structural, mechanical/plumbing, electrical, and interior design consultants.
Delivery: Coordinate with a Construction Manager at Risk on constructability, value engineering, cost control, and guaranteed maximum price development.
Sustainability: Manage LEED certification to achieve at least Silver, with Gold as the goal.
Budget: Approximately $10.677 million for construction and $1.494 million for furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
Schedule: Tentative design phase August 2027–July 2028; construction February 2029–March 2030; occupancy August 2030. Coordinate work around active campus operations.
Qualifications: At least five years of relevant experience, with required Maryland professional licensing and insurance.
