Coating: Chromate conversion per ASTM B-449, 10–35 mg/sq ft, or chrome-free BetzDearborn Permatreat 1021 B, 8–12 mg/sq ft. Chrome-free material requires a 3M compatibility letter for reflective sheeting.
Formability: Minimum 16% elongation on a 2" specimen; withstand 3/32" embossing with steel dies without breaking, cutting, or appreciable warping.
Coils and packaging: Nominal 2,000-lb coils, no more than 10% underweight; 18–20" inside diameter and 48–58" outside diameter. Individually skid, securely band, and wrap with reinforced waterproof paper; maximum packaged weight 2,000 lbs.
Delivery: Two 40,000-lb shipments approximately one week apart, within a 21-day delivery requirement. Open flatbed required for side unloading by forklift; provide 24-hour notice. Receiving hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–2 p.m., excluding holidays.
