Wiring and connectivity: Replace all initiating-device wiring; use conduit in laundry and shower areas. Retain and reconnect existing horn strobes and wiring. Include 1 pit wireless bridge, 1 pit dual monitor module, and 1 wireless communicator; only the meter pit tamper switch may be wireless.
Controls and software: Preserve HVAC smoke evacuation functionality and replace the control-room manual on/off relay switch to match existing operation. Include software with 1 year of support and requirements for a site-provided standalone reporting computer.
Installation: Phase work in the occupied, 24/7 facility, keeping both systems operational with cross-tripping during transition. Technicians require approved background checks, escorts, and strict tool controls. Remove old devices and wiring after turnover; patch and seal penetrations.
Testing and warranty: Include shop drawings, submittals, parts lists, one system pretest, one final inspection with the authority having jurisdiction, closeout documentation, and a 2-year parts and workmanship warranty.
Site meeting: Mandatory meeting October 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. local time at the project address; arrive on time and attend the entire meeting.
