Highway maps: Standard and large print editions: 360,000 copies each annually, 240,000 each initially, minimum 60,000 each per run; 24.75 × 38 inches, folded to 4.125 × 9.5 inches; also 100 standard flat maps annually, 50 initially.
Wall maps: 1,000 annually, 500 initially, minimum 200 per run; 36.5 × 64 inches, printed on one side without border items, with the city index inside the map frame.
Bike maps: Nine district versions, 34 × 27 inches, folded to 4.13 × 9 inches; District 1 needs 12,000 annually and 8,000 initially; Districts 2–9 need 8,000 each annually and 5,000 each initially; minimum 2,000 per district per run.
Printing: Recyclable white offset paper, Grade #3, brightness 80, opacity 90; 50 lb long grain for highway and Route 66, 50 lb long grain recycled paper for bike maps, and 60 lb for wall maps; four colors on both sides except wall maps, soybean or vegetable oil-based ink, and printing to all four edges.
Production: Print shop within 300 highway driving miles of 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, Illinois; trimmed and folded proofs within 10 business days of receiving files, up to three proof revisions, and delivery within 45 days of approval to print.
