What they need
- ScopeRepresent indigent parents in child abuse and neglect cases, including court appearances, client meetings, and filings.
- TermFrom contract execution through June 30, 2027, with up to two additional 12-month extensions.
- QualificationsActive Hawaiʻi law license in good standing and experience representing parents in child protection proceedings.
- TrainingCASA or approved equivalent training within 90 days of contract execution, plus at least 20 hours of relevant training each fiscal year.
- InsuranceProfessional liability coverage of at least $1 million per claim and $2 million annual aggregate.
- Compensation and capacitySet rate of $250 per case per month, capped at $3,000 per case annually. Please state your maximum caseload; case volume is not guaranteed.
