What the job is
Vehicles: Marked and unmarked sedans/coupes, SUVs, and trucks; approximately 300 vehicles annually across all locations, with no guaranteed volume.
Installation: Install customer-supplied lighting, sirens, radios/antennas, computer mounts/consoles, video systems, printers, cargo barriers, utility boxes, and ballistic door armor. Marked vehicles also require applicable decals, push/PIT bumpers, prisoner partitions/seating, window guards, weapon racks, sync modules, and flashlight chargers. Include transfers of existing radios, printers, and video systems.
Included costs: All labor, tools, wiring, connectors, accessories, consumables, preparation, and testing before and after installation.
Facility and qualifications: Facility must be within an eligible county for the service area, with secure storage for 10 vehicles and at least one ASE-certified technician. Installation and warranty authorization required from Federal Signal, Jotto/Tenhold, Troy Products, Motorola, OPS Public Safety, Panasonic, Westin, and Angel Armor.
Turnaround and warranty: Begin within 10 business days of notification; plan for completion within 30 days. Provide at least a 90-day warranty on supplied labor and parts not covered by manufacturer warranty. Include correction costs, including travel to 3646 County Road 220, Middleburg, FL 32068-3831 when required.
Pricing: Provide separate all-inclusive per-vehicle prices for marked and unmarked sedans, SUVs, and trucks, plus hourly rates for additional work, for an initial three-year term and renewal of up to three years. Include your facility address and county, with separate pricing for each service area.
