What the job is
Services: Roadway plowing, salt application, snow hauling, and emergency debris removal on an as-needed basis over a five-year term.
Snow equipment: Tri-axle, tandem-axle, or single-axle dump trucks with reversible highway plows measuring 11 feet long and at least 40 inches high; 4x4 pickups must be at least ¾ ton with a plow. Supply hydraulic salt spreaders where offered; salt is provided.
Other equipment: Identify available loaders with 2-cubic-yard minimum buckets, graders rated at least 28,001 pounds GVW, grapple saw trucks with 2-ton minimum capacity, bucket trucks with 75-foot minimum reach and 15-inch minimum chippers, tree handlers with 36-inch saws, or roll-off dumpsters.
Response: Equipment and qualified operators must be available 24/7, reporting within three hours of daytime notification or two hours for calls between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Pricing: Provide equipment types, quantities, service counties, and hourly rates including operators, fuel, maintenance, and insurance. Use the same rate day and night, with no overtime or paid travel time; include disposal rates where applicable.
