SludgeApproximately 2.6 million gallons/year, typically 5–7% solids. Primary disposal at Mattabassett in Cromwell, CT; two alternate disposal sites required.
WastewaterApproximately 13,200 gallons/week, hauled to the facility at 2149 Main Street for disposal at no tipping charge. Quantities are estimates.
EquipmentMinimum 6,500-gallon tankers, compatible cam-lock connections, vacuum pumping capability, and backup equipment and staffing.
Loading hoursSludge Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; wastewater weekdays, 5:00–6:30 a.m. or 5:30–8:00 p.m., with holiday and emergency adjustments.
PricingAll-inclusive per-gallon rates for each service year, covering sludge solids bands from 3.0–9.9% in one-percentage-point increments and wastewater hauling separately.
