Please quote road and bridge design services for approximately 1.5 miles of road connecting Akutan to its boat harbor on Akutan Island, Alaska.

Roadway: Single-lane gravel road, 12 feet wide, with drainage facilities and a new bridge over Whalebone Creek.
Existing design: Verify and incorporate approximately 7,250 feet of previously designed roadway and design the remaining approximately 750-foot connection.
Engineering: Include roadway, bridge, water flow, drainage, ground conditions, and utility design, with additional surveying, mapping, and property access support as needed.
Environmental: Update existing environmental documents, obtain required permits, evaluate cultural resources, and support public coordination.
Deliverables: Provide preliminary and final design packages, professionally sealed plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bidding support using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Alaska-licensed professionals.
Schedule: Complete preliminary design by August 2027, plans-in-hand review by November 2027, and final plans, specifications, and estimate review by March 2028.
