What the job is
Planning and reporting: Analyze crash data, develop performance targets, and prepare highway safety plans, annual grant applications, strategic plans, and annual reports.
Grant support: Review applications, claims, and deliverables; update guidance documents and administrative manuals.
Meetings and assessments: Coordinate stakeholder workshops, facilitate meetings, prepare materials, and provide assessment logistics and on-site support. Allow for up to three trips per task within Alaska; trips may combine tasks.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in transportation behavioral safety support, including highway safety planning and grant administration.
Term and pricing: Anticipated December 1, 2026 start for one year, with four optional annual renewals. Include fully loaded hourly rates, estimated hours, annual totals, and separate travel costs.
