Item and scope: Gate valves designated SPECIAL EMPHASIS material (Level I) for crucial shipboard use, with an option for increased quantity within 365 days of award.
QPL requirement: The item is on the Qualified Products List; award is subject to QPL requirements and vendors not on the QPL must first complete the steps to be added.
Certifications: Vendor must be ISO 9001 certified and include proof with the quote; the set-aside is total small business.
Inspection and acceptance: DCMA source inspection and acceptance are required before shipping; destination inspection and acceptance are not allowed.
Quote must include: Price per unit, first-batch lead time, monthly ship rate, offer validity, inspection/acceptance/pack CAGE locations, US manufacture, POC, and option pricing for each NIIN.
Warranty and sourcing: One-year warranty from date of delivery; Buy American requirements apply; past performance will be considered in evaluation.
