We are seeking quotes for repair and teardown evaluation of a linear transducer (a Fly-By-Wire Submarine Flight Critical Component) for the Navy, supplied through NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg.
Scope and quantity: Repair of linear transducers, quantity 10, with teardown and evaluation (TD&E) of each carcass before the full repair.
Pricing required: Submit estimated or firm fixed price, a beyond-repair/beyond-economical-repair price, and an approximate new-item cost if available; do not include shipping.
Turnaround time: Complete TD&E and submit a firm fixed price repair quote within 45 days of receiving carcasses, with final government acceptance within a 180-day repair turnaround time.
OEM and sourcing: This is a sole source requirement; non-OEM offerors must name the OEM (company and CAGE) and provide a signed distributor authorization letter on OEM letterhead.
Compliance and warranty: Order is DPAS DO-rated, placed under BOA N0010422GZD01, requires Buy American certifications, and carries a one-year warranty from delivery.
Special controls: Material is a submarine flight critical component with special control procedures and SMIC marking, and inspection/test plan data items are required per DD1423 unless waived.
