We are seeking quotes for repair, teardown and evaluation of a Fly-By-Wire Submarine Flight Critical Component (SBC assembly) for NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg, with delivery handled by the government shipping system.
Scope of work: Repair of a Fly-By-Wire Submarine Flight Critical Component (SFCC) used in a crucial shipboard system, with a teardown and evaluation (TD&E) of carcasses first.
Pricing required: Submit Estimated or Firm Fixed Price for repair, plus a beyond-repair price and an approximate new-item cost if available, with no shipping costs included.
Turnaround time: Vendor has 45 days after receiving carcasses to finish TD&E and submit a Firm-Fixed Price quote; requested repair turnaround is 365 days with final Government inspection and acceptance.
Security clearance: Offerors must hold a valid U.S. security clearance of CONFIDENTIAL or higher and handle classified material per NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117).
OEM and sourcing: This is a sole source requirement; non-OEM offerors must state the OEM name and CAGE and provide a signed distributor authorization letter on OEM letterhead.
Terms and warranty: Order is placed on BOA N0010422GZD01, is DPAS DO-rated, and carries a one-year warranty from date of delivery.
