Please quote applied research on communications and networking for the Office of Naval Research.

  • Radio links: Develop long-range VHF data links using compact 4-by-4 multiple-antenna technology based on 5G and commercially available equipment, with channels narrower than 1 MHz and efficiency above 1 bit per hertz.
  • Antenna prototypes: Design and build compact antenna prototypes that steer electronically and operate above the Ka frequency band.
  • Communications: Develop communications technology that is difficult for advanced electronic threats to detect.
  • Network control: Develop methods for coordinating network control, timing, or scheduling across multiple locations.
  • Network planning: Develop algorithms that predict network behavior or performance, or turn emerging operational needs into rules for managing network traffic.
  • Other ideas: Innovative ideas outside these focus areas are welcome if important to Navy or Marine Corps communications and networking.

Please confirm availability and send your quote by November 16, 2026.
