Mortar and mock-ups: Include laboratory mortar analysis, a compatible mortar formulation, and approved repair, repointing, and cleaning mock-ups.
Cleaning and protection: Use gentle preservation methods; include barriers, dust and runoff control, protection of archaeological resources, and cleanup. No ground disturbance without written approval.
Qualifications: Valid West Virginia contractor license, at least five years of historic masonry experience, and three comparable projects completed within the past five years.
Schedule: Target completion by November 20, 2026; final completion required by November 30, 2026.
Pricing: Provide one lump-sum quote covering labor, materials, equipment, testing, permits, insurance, travel, cleanup, and a one-year workmanship and materials warranty.
