What the job is
Service type: As-needed legal counsel and advice.
Required expertise: Municipal fund securities, FINRA/MSRB rules, IRC 529 and 529A plans, fiduciary responsibility, taxation, contracts, intellectual property, probate, guardianship, Social Security, and Medicaid.
Meetings: Attorney attendance at quarterly board meetings and special meetings as requested.
Term: Expected service period from December 1, 2026 through August 31, 2028, with possible renewal options.
Pricing: Hourly rates by attorney/staff role, paralegal rates where applicable, and any flat fees for trademark services.
Insurance: Malpractice insurance of at least $3,000,000 required.
