What the job is
Removal: Remove and legally dispose of 21 existing gates and associated posts, including old pipe gates.
Gates: Supply and install 30 red steel farm gates, 16 feet wide by 52 inches high, with 16-gauge steel and 2-inch tubing.
Posts and hardware: Provide one hinge post and two locking posts per gate using 8x8 treated timber set in concrete, plus 11 additional timber bollards. Include three hinges and a galvanized 1/4-inch by 6-foot locking chain per gate; gates must swing at least 90 degrees in both directions.
Signs: Include aluminum 8x24-inch red/white high-intensity barricade markers, 12x18-inch customizable road-number and closure signs, and yellow high-intensity object markers.
Installation: Include mobilization, clearing and leveling as needed, excavation, concrete, all labor, materials, and equipment.
Schedule: Complete within 90 days; anticipated work period is November 18, 2026–February 17, 2027.
