ScheduleApril 1, 2027–March 31, 2028, with six proposed collection events: April 3, May 1, June 5, July 10, September 11, and November 6, 2027, rain or shine.
ScopeProvide setup, unloading, sorting, packaging, labeling, weighing, transport, and disposal for up to 145,000 pounds of residential hazardous waste, including paints, chemicals, fuels, batteries, and fluorescent bulbs.
Staffing and equipmentMinimum 20 experienced employees, including two trained in hazardous waste identification and packaging; forklift, 15 large utility carts, certified scales, protective ground coverings, and a 20 × 30-foot rain tent. Complete setup one hour before collection and cleanup within three hours after the last vehicle.
Latex paintSeparate and stack in a site-provided roll-off; supply a minimum 6-mil plastic liner and tarp. Separate rechargeable batteries at no additional charge.
DisposalProvide licensed hazardous waste transport, permitted U.S. disposal facilities, manifests, and final disposal certifications.
PricingInclude all labor, equipment, materials, collection, transportation, and disposal. Provide an all-inclusive per-pound rate and per-event pricing for four, five, and six events annually; include the same per-pound rate for pickups between events.
