We're looking for pricing on fire hydrant maintenance services for approximately 740 fire hydrants in Waco, Texas.
Hydrant service: Exercise operating nuts and caps, grease cap zerks/threads, flush hydrants, and conduct flow tests
Minor repairs: Repair existing hydrants using OEM parts for Kennedy, US Pipe, American Darling, Mueller, Clow, and EJ hydrants as needed
Additional work: Install hydrant ID tags, install street reflectors, replace missing valve box lids, paint hydrants, and replace hydrants up to 6-foot bury in grass, asphalt, or concrete
Reporting: Provide a web-based dashboard with daily updates, hydrant data, GPS coordinates, inspection results, and Excel export capability
Schedule: Work may be performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; annual contract with possible renewals
Contractor requirements: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, fuel, and backfill material; self-perform at least 60% of the work
