We are looking for phlebotomy and specimen courier services at El Paso State Supported Living Center, 6700 Delta Dr, El Paso, TX 79905.
Coverage: 3 certified phlebotomists for Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-10:00 PM, plus Saturday-Sunday on-call coverage during the same hours, including holidays as needed
Collections: Venipuncture, capillary sticks, and specialty collections with patient ID verification, accurate labeling, specimen handling, and draw logs
Courier: Immediate transport of specimens to UMC laboratory with ambient, refrigerated, and frozen temperature control
Response Times: Routine calls within 2 hours; STAT calls within 15 minutes to 1 hour
Requirements: CPT-certified phlebotomists, trained drivers, leak-proof containers, chain-of-custody records, bloodborne pathogen training, valid driver licenses, and current vehicle insurance
Vendor Location: Must be within 25 miles of the service location
