Mission analysisDefine the flight mission characteristics of KC135, RC135 and WC135 aircraft and check whether engine life limits and maintenance intervals still hold, then report to the USAF.
Model updatesConvert legacy thermal, CAD and stress F108 part models to the current Next-Gen Thermal & Flow Simulator tools and provide a memorandum confirming success.
Borescope plug certificationCertify a self-locking borescope plug set with a service bulletin approving the new design without safety wire for the CFM56-2B (F108) engine.
Sole source / qualified sourcesWork is planned as an addition to sole source contract SPE4AX-25-D-9406 with CFM International, and only sources with access to proprietary F108 performance data qualify.
Non-OEM interestAny non-OEM source able to provide the entire support must notify the Contracting Officer before the closing date.
RegistrationThe contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive an award.
