We are seeking quotes for the repair and upgrade of an interconnecting cable assembly (Input P/N 178-6384-1, NIIN 015016740, upgraded to Output P/N 620420-06-00, NIIN 014951195) for the Navy (NAVSUP WSS).
Scope of work: Inspect, repair or replace components, reassemble, and test the cable assembly to return it to Ready for Issue condition.
Turnaround and throughput: Offeror must state the repair turnaround time in days after receipt of the asset and a monthly throughput figure.
Induction period: Assets are repairable for 365 days after contract award; later assets need agreement with the NAVSUP WSS Contracting Officer.
Wire and workmanship: MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited and SAE-AS22759 wire must be used; work citing MIL-STD-454 must comply with IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C by trained and certified personnel.
Tooling and reporting: Contractor supplies all tooling and test equipment, and must report asset receipt in the CAV system within five business days.
Contract terms: Buy American requirements apply, invoicing is through Wide Area Workflow, and early and incremental deliveries are preferred.
