We are seeking quotes for newly manufactured Flight Critical digital computer components (FSC 70) for DLA Weapons Support / Naval Inventory Control Point, delivered under an emergency acquisition.
Approved sources only: Only Naval Air Systems Command-approved sources are eligible; unapproved offerors are technically unacceptable, and distributors must email an authorized distributor letter on the source's letterhead with their quote.
New material only: Spares must be newly manufactured; refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material is ineligible for award.
Source approval request: Unapproved companies may submit a Source Approval Request to the contracting officer by the closing date, including drawings, process sheets, delivery records, a comparative analysis, and inspection sheets for a similar part made within three years.
Quality and marking: Requires AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent quality system, MIL-STD-130 markings, and ANSI Z1.4 sampling; a pre-award survey and post-award conference may be required.
First article testing: Contractor-performed first article testing is required for Lot 0001, with approval due in 360 days or sooner.
Warranty and compliance: A 12-month warranty applies, along with Buy American/Balance of Payments, item unique identification, and Wide Area Workflow invoicing; drawings are not available for this request.
