We are seeking quotes for the repair, testing, and inspection of 8 units of NSN 6150-01-584-2950 (electrical distributing system) for the U.S. Navy.
Repair scope: Inspect, repair or replace components, reassemble, and test units to return them to Ready for Issue condition per the approved repair/overhaul manual.
Quantities and options: Initial order is for 8 units, and you must price options for up to 16 units total, with separate second-year pricing if prices change.
Induction period: Units are inducted over 365 days from award, and the Government may extend it another 365 days for two years total, carrying over unused slots.
Tooling and equipment: The contractor must supply all fixtures, jigs, special tooling, and test equipment, since the Government will not provide any.
Wire and workmanship: MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited, so use SAE-AS22759 wire, and personnel must be trained and certified to IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C where MIL-STD-454 is cited.
Warranty and compliance: Warranty runs 1 year after delivery, and the contract includes Buy American, Wide Area Workflow invoicing, and item unique identification requirements.
