What the job is
Stone restoration: Carefully dismantle unstable sections and rebuild collapsed or damaged areas, reusing original stones wherever possible. Use traditional dry-stack methods that preserve the natural appearance; no mortar, concrete, external anchors, or visible artificial stabilizers.
Fencing: Install approximately 256 linear feet of 5-foot-tall commercial/industrial-grade, 3-rail metal fencing, approximately 31 sections and 32 concrete-set posts, with a 10-foot-wide gate opening and latch. Maintain a circular perimeter approximately 10 feet from the formation.
Border: Install heavy-duty black weed mat between the formation and fence, fully covered with crushed stone.
Site coordination: Complete formation footprint adjustments before fence layout, keep the gate swing clear, protect irrigation, and include excess soil cleanup, stone dressing, and turf restoration.
Labor and pricing: Include all labor, materials, equipment, and applicable Massachusetts prevailing wages. Provide separate prices for restoration and fencing.
