How to submit

• Electronic proposal must be emailed to Brian McCabe at brian_mccabe@ios.doi.gov. No hardcopy, fax or in person proposals will be accepted. (Attachment 11, p. 70)
• The SF 1442 says sealed offers (original plus 1 copy) go to NPS, 1234 Market Street, 20th Floor, Philadelphia PA 19107. This conflicts with the email instruction. (Attachment 11, p. 1)

Pre-bid meeting or site visit

• An organized site visit was scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 10 AM Eastern. (Attachment 11, p. 68)

Bonds

• Form asks if the contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds, to be furnished within 10 calendar days after award. The offeror agrees to furnish any required bonds. (Attachment 11, p. 1)

Licenses and certifications

• An NPS Hot Work Permit is required for any operation involving open flame or producing heat or sparks, such as welding, brazing, cutting and soldering. (Attachment 11, p. 13)

Set-aside and participation goals

• This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. (Attachment 4, p. 2)

Contract term

• Contractor must begin within 10 calendar days and complete within 190 calendar days after notice to proceed. (Attachment 11, p. 1)
• Amendment 0001 lists the period of performance as 11/09/2026 to 12/31/2027. (Attachment 4, p. 2)

Pricing format

• Firm-Fixed Price with line items, including Scaling 3528 SF, Fossil Inventory 80 HR and Rock Bolt Anchors 14 EA. (Attachment 11, p. 3)
