We are seeking quotes for V-blade tree planting services across the Withlacoochee Quail Farm, Holton Creek, Mattair Springs, and Woods Ferry Tracts in Suwannee and Hamilton Counties, Florida.
Scope: V-blade planting of approximately 270,000 containerized longleaf and slash pine seedlings across 371 acres
Equipment Requirements: Crawler tractors equipped with front-mounted V-blades (with depth control rollers) and Whitfield-type planters
Planting Density: 726 trees per acre using a 5’x12’ or 6’x10’ grid
Logistics: Contractor is responsible for seedling pickup from the nursery in Chiefland, FL, and proper on-site storage
Project Timeline: Planting is scheduled to begin December 1, 2026, and must be completed by February 28, 2027
