We are seeking proposals for enabling technologies that achieve temperature-flexible storage and distribution of regenerative tissues and organs under the ARPA-H TIGAR Exploratory Topic.
Core Scope: Develop technologies that stabilize complex biologics for storage and distribution across a range of environmental temperatures, reducing reliance on strictly controlled cold chains.
Eligible Approaches: Solutions may combine new materials, AI/ML, high-throughput screening, biological interventions, devices, processing methods, analytical technology, and packaging.
Preferred Strategy: Non-cryogenic, easy-to-maintain temperature storage strategies are preferred over cryogenic approaches.
Excluded Work: Cellular-level innovations without a deployment strategy for thick tissues will not be considered.
Submission Deadlines: Solution Video due August 12, 2026; Full Proposal due September 17, 2026 (Intake Group 1).
