We are seeking proposals for revolutionary, non-evolutionary research across a broad range of defense technology topics under DARPA's Strategic Technology Office (STO) Innovation Solutions Opening.
Scope of Work: Proposals must present revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems — not incremental improvements to existing practice.
Topic Areas: Eligible research spans autonomy, AI, directed energy, electromagnetic warfare, communications, space systems, undersea technology, robotics, and dozens of related defense technology domains.
Award Mechanisms: Funding may be structured as cooperative agreements, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) for research or prototypes, or procurement for experimental purposes under 10 U.S.C. §§ 4001, 4021, 4022, and 4023.
Eligibility: Industry, academia, and other organizations are eligible to submit proposals.
Duplicates Excluded: Proposals that duplicate ongoing STO programs or respond to other published DARPA solicitations will not be considered — review current programs before submitting.
