What the gig needs
We are looking for orientation and mobility services at Richmond State Supported Living Center, 2100 Preston St, Richmond, TX 77469.
- Services: Work with individuals with vision impairments to support safe, independent travel
- Evaluations: Conduct orientation and mobility assessments and support treatment planning
- Staff Training: Train staff on safe transporting and escorting of individuals with visual impairments
- Schedule: Minimum 1 day per week, 8 hours total, Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Qualifications: Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist through ACVREP with at least 1 year of COMS experience
- Reporting: Submit service reports and attend planning meetings as requested
- Contract Term: September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2029
