We are seeking quotes for maintenance, repair, and preservation of the 90-foot steel yard tug YT-811 at a contractor facility in the Puget Sound, WA region.
Core scope: Wash and clean the vessel, replace zinc anodes, and blast and preserve the underwater hull, freeboard, bulwarks, handrails, and non-skid decks.
Inspections and repairs: Perform hull and freeboard UT inspections and deck VT inspections, repair hull and winch valves and the deckhouse expansion joint, and test and preserve CHT, ballast, potable water, fuel oil, waste oil, and day tanks.
Systems work: Repair mast and deckhouse lighting, replace deck winch, mast, and brow hydraulic hoses, modify winch control piping (YT-0104D), overhaul the mast hydraulic ram, and replace all placards and labels.
Facility requirements: The facility must handle a vessel 90 ft long, 38 ft 5 in wide, 16 ft draft, and 494 L tons full displacement, and be located between Olympia and Bellingham, WA.
Vessel handling: The Government transports the vessel to and from the facility, and the contractor coordinates delivery through the Contracting Officer via the SUPERVISOR.
Contract terms: This is a full and open, firm-fixed-price award requiring SAM registration, with the vessel ready for pickup on or after 2 March 2027.
