We are seeking quotes for repair of a Housing, Loader, Aft (a Critical Safety Item) for the Navy, with freight handled by the Navy through the Commercial Asset Visibility system.
Repair Turnaround: Required repair turnaround time is 170 days, measured from physical receipt of the asset at the contractor's facility to Government acceptance.
Late Penalty: Assets not returned within the required turnaround incur a per-unit, per-month price reduction unless the delay is excusable.
Inspection: Government Source Inspection is required, and all items are Critical Safety Items.
Quote Contents: Quotes must give unit and total firm price, turnaround days, a beyond-repair test and evaluation fee, and CAGE codes.
Option Quantity: The Government intends to add an option to increase quantity at the quoted unit price, exercisable within 365 days.
Compliance: Award is bilateral and includes CMMC level requirements, Buy American certification, and Navy CAV transaction reporting within five business days of receipt.
