Repair scope: Quote a firm fixed price for full repair, plus a separate beyond repair (BR/BER) price with the quote.
Turnaround time: Repairs must be completed within 60 days after receipt of the assets.
Repair standards: Work follows the contractor's own repair/overhaul practices, manuals, and approved repair standards.
Marking: The item must be physically marked per MIL-STD-130, Rev N (16 Nov 2012).
Shipping and tracking: Do not include shipping costs, since the government or ATAC ships the material; the vendor must comply with Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) per NAVSUPWSSFA24.
Inspection and changes: The contractor does the inspections and must get final government acceptance; design, material, or part number changes need written approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer.
