We are seeking quotes for repair, testing, and inspection of receiver-transmitter units and other replacement parts under a Navy repair/modification contract (NAVSUP WSS).
Scope of work: Repair, test, inspect, and replace components and reassemble units to return them to serviceable condition.
Contractor-furnished tooling: The contractor supplies all fixtures, jigs, special tooling, and test equipment; the Government provides none.
Wire and soldering standards: MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited and SAE-AS22759 wire must be used instead; where MIL-STD-454 is cited, work must comply with IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C with trained and certified personnel.
Turnaround and throughput: Quote a repair turnaround time (days after asset receipt) and a monthly throughput for each NSN; assets must be repaired and accepted by the Government within that time.
Period of performance: Assets must be received within 365 days of contract award to be repaired, and receipt must be logged in the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system within five business days.
Warranty and priority: A 12-month warranty applies, and the order carries a DO-A1A national defense priority rating.
