We are seeking a consultant to develop a long-term Farm-to-School and Early Care Strategic Plan covering statewide Texas, coordinated from 1700 N.
Needs Assessment: Conduct a statewide environmental scan, root-cause analysis, and review of existing data and resources
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate surveys, listening sessions, meetings, and workshops with producers, schools, early care providers, distributors, educators, and students
Research and Analysis: Review comparable strategic plans and conduct a SWOT analysis of existing programs and partnerships
Strategic Plan: Develop statewide goals, action steps, timelines, stakeholder engagement strategies, and an evaluation framework
Implementation: Create a prioritized work plan and recommend a sustainable structure for long-term implementation
Project Management: Provide weekly status reports, monthly meetings, deliverable reviews, quality assurance, and a detailed project schedule
