Roofing work: Remove wood shingles, repair wood joists and purlins, and install synthetic shake or shingle roofs on the specified historic structures.
Lightning protection: Remove and reinstall lightning protection on four buildings and add lightning protection to the Boyhood Home Smokehouse.
Bid options: Options cover reroofing the Settlement Cabin and removing and reinstalling its lightning protection.
Contract requirements: This is a firm-fixed-price contract requiring active SAM registration and completed online representations and certifications.
Site visit: The site visit is July 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST, with RSVP required by July 14 at 12:00 PM CDT.
Performance period: Work is scheduled for August 31, 2026, through June 7, 2027, or 280 days after notice to proceed.
