We are seeking a quote for as-needed interior painting services at the Texas Capitol and Capitol Extension in Austin, Texas.
Work Period: October 2026 through January 2027, with some assignments requiring a 1–2 day turnaround
Staffing: Up to one painting foreman and six journeyman painters; subcontracting is not permitted
Pricing: Provide hourly rates for the foreman and journeyman painters during normal hours and after-hours/weekend work
Scope: Interior painting, scraping, wet sanding, priming, plaster and hole repairs, caulking, masking, cutting, and rolling
Materials: Paint, tape, masking film, caulk, joint compound, spackling, primer, and grids will be provided. The contractor must supply tools, clean drop cloths, dollies, and ladders from 6 to 28 feet
Requirements: Employees must pass criminal background checks and obtain site badges
Site Visit: Mandatory walkthrough on August 12, 2026, at 9:30 AM; registration is required by August 7, 2026
