What the gig needs

This contract supports a Congressionally funding allocation for Hurricane Helene disaster recovery assessment. This project focuses on rivercane (Arundinaria gigantea - a woody bamboo relative), to assess 1) its contribution to streambank stability, 2) persistence through historical high-water events, and 3) its potential as a restoration tool. The project assesses damage to riparian areas and site suitability for restoration efforts. PLEASEE SEE ATTACHMENTS: Statement of Work, Evaluation Criteria Rivercane Site Assessment The quoters shall submit their quote to Harkley, Heather at heather.harkley@usda.gov and Cc to the Contracting Officer Nestor Rivera Gonzalez, by email at nestor.riveragonzalez@usda.gov no later than September 16, 2026, at 1159 PM (ET).
