We are seeking quotes for design-build replacement of the emergency generator and construction of its building at Retamal Dam.
Project Scope: Replace the failed generator and install it in a metal building on a new concrete pad with a modern diesel fuel tank.
Construction Tasks: Perform site preparation, inspect systems and structures, dispose of debris and construction waste, and conduct quality control testing.
Work Hours: On-site work is limited to 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Site Visit: Attend the solicitation-listed site visit and submit completed Form 358 before attendance.
Site Access: Workers must pass through USIBWC levees, use identifying vehicles, and stay off adjacent US Fish and Wildlife property.
Warranties: Provide warranties of at least five years for the generator and automatic transfer switch and 20 years for shingles, roofing, and the roof system.
