This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with RFO part 12. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA301626Q0190 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) RF-4C Phantom II Restoration and Maintenance Services for the 67th Cyberspace Wing at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA).
This acquisition is Total Set Aside for small business concerns. Description of Work: The Contractor shall ensure one static display aerospace vehicle (SDAV) and related equipment are safely and properly configured to accurately reflect USAF history, heritage, and traditions in accordance with (IAW) this Performance Work Statement (PWS), DAFI 84-103 �Department of the Air Force Heritage Program�, and other applicable standards. The goals and objectives are to ensure the SDAV and related equipment are inspected, cleaned, prepared, maintained and painted to restore to original manufacturer�s or operational appearances for the period depicted and control/prevent metal corrosion or other forms of surface deterioration that are costly and can shorten SDAV life, hinder mission accomplishment or endanger personnel, visitors, or the environment.
