The U.S. Forest Service requires the proper decommissioning (abandonment) of one existing water well located at Little Lick Campground in the London Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Pulaski County, Kentucky. The well is no longer in use and contains only the borehole and casing (no pump, piping, or associated equipment). The well must be permanently abandoned to protect groundwater resources, eliminate potential safety hazards, and comply with all applicable federal and state regulations.
